T4R. What features of the old Bungie website do you miss? What would you bring back if you could?
The big one for me is the actual separation of different forums, and the use of quotes as the primary means of responding to a particular poster.

Edited by Shriden: 1/12/2013 4:49:09 AMI missed the old, old version that was around for Halo 2. I'm pretty sure it was a browser compatibility nightmare (probably the case even more nowadays), but I'd love to see some of that come back. I also loved the navigation menu that followed you down the page on the "track."

I miss the layout the most and the way the forums were separated. Not a big fan of this one big giant forum thing. At least the old Bnet is still up sorta like a little memorial kinda thing.

Yes. This sucks.

Everything. I don't like change. Not when I'm not prepared for it.
-
Having my copy/paste and story threads from long ago in tact. To make it even worse I can't retrieve them from old bungie since I can't sign in. Also wish I could get my saved threads back.

The separation of different forums. I like the new sub-reply system better than quotes. #comeatmebro

Everything. This was the worst update to anything ever. OVERREACTING!!!

The dark background

Getting that first comment that derails the thread

separate forums.

The layout

Edited by Ric_Adbur: 1/11/2013 4:42:51 AMPretty much everything but the new rules. Bungie finally pulls their heads out of their asses about what people are allowed to say, and then shoves them right back up there about how people are able to say them. If I wanted a facebook/youtube/reddit/twitter clone, I have literally hundreds of other sites to choose from. Bnet used to be unique, with it's own culture that grew over many years, and now it's nothing but a generic cookie-cutter clone pandering to the lowest-common denominator of low-attention-span imbeciles. They've sterilized it of everything that made it interesting. Significant discussion is impossible in this nonsensical format. Who the hell designs a forum with reply nesting sorted into oldest first, newest last, and then makes the overall thread comments sorted in the opposite order, with oldest last and newest first?

Group settings is what I miss the most.
-
Being able to actually read through a thread.

Edited by Eternal Way: 1/11/2013 4:33:20 AMNearly everything. The layout not being Bungie employee excrement, private groups actually being private, the comment/post system...

The darker colors and separate forums.
