Who remembers those days? Everything moved so fast, it was almost impossible to make a point or get a word in edgewise. That's kinda like all of Bnet now. It's a complete cluster with so much change that we can barely keep up.
Are you discouraged by how fast the forums are moving? Can anyone possibly muster a way to make everyone "heard" again. This is going to be very discouraging and confusing to new members.
-
I wish things would slow down more. Its getting to clustered like casuals are posting a whole bunch of threads now. Bungie needs to stop this they know whats happening.
-
I like how fast it moves, and the notifications are a plus. However, I hate the reply system, it should be the latest replies all on the bottom.
-
Considering I've left these forums for sometime due to inactivity, I'd say I'm happy with it.
-
I am burrito. I owned the Halo 3 forum. Be grateful I do not take control of this as well. For now, only Dead Orbit may control all things. For Dead Orbit is the Best Orbit.
-
I noticed that from all halo games Bungie created, Halo Reach tag only has 3 posts, while the others more than 5 or 10.. and more.
-
"Because Bungie is dark the forums move to slow!" "Since Bungie updated their site the forums move to fast!" Once you get the hang of using the hashtags, you see how useful they are. The only problem is that members often use hashtags relative to their thread.
Can anyone possibly muster a way to make everyone "heard" again. Use filters and your followed users to not only make yourself heard, but to find the things you want to talk about. That includes both searching for the hashtags you want and being responsible/careful about the hashtags you put on your own threads. This is way more manageable than the old forum structure :-)
-
It's probably more difficult to get into the swing of things, but once you start using hashtags and followed members, it should be far less confusing you won't be inundated with terrible posts.
-
Threads move insanely fast. The only time they don't move that fast is when you have tabs open for each hashtag you want to follow (as if you use that as an individual forum). Keep the main forum tab open? Yeah, it's going to go way too fast for anything to be seen.
-
It's pretty annoying how fast topics move around.
-
I feel it would be to the benefit of everyone if we removed stuck with hashtags and a single forum, but kept the old system of threads bumping to the top when people posted in them.
-
Oh I wish! Imagine all the forum warriors now! It would be glorious!
-
It's a giant cluster-blam!-.
-
Now that you mentioned it... Yeah, teh puma knows what you mean.
-
I'm so glad I follow you Lobby! I came into this thread to instantly see that pic! OT: I can see it discouraging new members but if the Bnet Beta ends before they announce Destiny stuff, the number affected will be relatively small.
-
Ahh, back in the time with actual categorized forums. Those were the days!
-
Yeah its cray cray around here :P
-
Tis' quite funny.
-
IT'S SAD BECAUSE IT'S TRUE :<
-
The Halo 3 forums, that was a good time. All the those Colonel Grade 3 threads...
-
I remember it. I wasn't a member at the time, but I did visit the forums. It's like the Flood when a parody wave hits. It's frantic and fun.
-
Oh god, you're right. Those were awful, awful times.
-
I shall forever remember the slow days. The days we got to know each other a little more. :)
-
It does, and I love it. Once things settle down I think we'll all be able to navigate and discuss more effectively, but for now it's pretty damn entertaining.
-
It does.
