This thread is more of a log to keep my own head straight. I am trying to figure out what these symbols from ODST mean
Attempt 1
Top picture to unicode braille - note these can be translated into many languages have not found how yet
28C3 - 28F8 - 28D8 - 284E - 2815 - 28D7 - 286D - 2898 - 286E - 28CA - 28AF - 287B - 287C - 28D5
Made using this Key
Notes: Have rulled out geomancy becasue of blank spots - figure is 28 x 4. Additionally unicode braille can be converted to hexidecimal

Attempt 2
unicode hexidecimal using this key
123 - 161 - 138 - 54 - 15 - 75 - 73 - 98 - 74 - 130 - 105 - 81 - 82 - 135
then this key
7B - A1 -8A -36 - F - 4B - 49 - 62 - 4A - 82 - 69 - 51 - 52 - 87
Need help start here to help

Attempt 3 - using the same key as attempt 1 there is another translation for the converstion - note there is a realtionship between them however, still unsuccessful at translating this however
U+28C3 - U+28F8 - U+28D8 - U+284E - U+2815 - U+28D7 - U+286D - U+2898 - U+286E - U+28CA - U+28AF - U+278B - U+287C - U+28D5
notes: no idea what the U+ is for reading the unicode manual now

attempt 4 - braille to binary suing this key
11000011 - 11011111 - 00011011 - 01110010 - 10101000 - 11110110 - 10110110 - 00011001 - 01110110 - 01010011 - 11110101 - 11011110 - 00111110 - 10101011
notes: this seems like a very complicated conversion - will try 4 rows of 28 binary, or perhaps 28 columns of 4 binary

attempt five 28 columns of 4 into binary - not decimal sperates columns
1101.0001.1101.1111.0001.1101.0111.1000.1010.0100.1111.1010.1011.1010.0000.1101.0111.1010.0101.1001.1110.1011.1101.1110.0011.1110.0011.1110.1011.0101
notes - seems very annoying to do - but I could turn this into geomancy, numbers, or whatever. I think that may be too deep of a riddle but it somehow seems more likely than braille - I dunno any computer people know anything special about 28 numbers that i don't? IP address maybe or something?

Throws computer at wall - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! END THE DARKNESS BUNGIE YOU SEE WHAT THIS IS DOING TO US!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
So I am not seeing a 2X4 braille language everything is 2X3 - can we convert the unicode to something? And why would the unicode not be representative of the language?
