Looking for Voice Actors (VA's) for Halo Machinima
Hey guys, I've been creating a machinima for a long time and the hardest part is trying to find the right people to voice your characters so I've been looking in as many different places as I can. The list of available characters are Conrad, Ackley (name will be changed), Jay, Whitey, Jackson, Chain and Cable. 2 RepliesNot really into Voice acting, so I guess you can just skip past this post if you want. Have you joined any kind of Groups dedicated towards Machinima? If not you should try to find one and if you're interested in one, join it. It helps to find one that you can get friendly and active with their community. Joining one that you're hesitant to take part of while likely ruin chances with making some new friends and possibly actors. Also, I had watched "Maverick Ep 1" on your channel. You've got the body actors for it pretty well done, but there were a few issues I had with the Camera cuts and angles. Also the voicing could have been better, and while I'm on the subject of audio you could use some royalty free music and sounds. You can find a few if you just Google it, so it wouldn't be that hard. Seeing as how you just started you'll evidently get better with it. I'm no expert on Machinima or anything but there's just a few issues that likely anyone would see if they had ever taken part of some. I've even started to write my own and I'm currently looking for people willing to help, act, and write with. But they've all come a community of friends that I met due to a dedicated Machinima group. In case you didn't see it in my reply to Zoobkiller, this is the original version of the machinima I am not recreating with more depth and quality. Its my first ever attempt at machinima and it was made with standard definition quality and decent voice actors. Now I am looking to create a deeper story and have better visual and audio quality as well as better voice actors to replace some of the weaker ones.

Nearly every person I've talked to on has suggested that I lend my "vocal talents" to Machinimas. I've always been accepted by random directors, but they [i]never[/i] follow through with the project. :/

1 ReplyWhat I suggest is watching a lot of different Let's Play channels, find a commentator who has personality and send them a message. Hopefully you interest them and they agree to help you out!!!
