I figured out how to keep guns and stop shootings.
To keep our weapons and stop potential shootings
1. High powered automatic firearms should only be accessible by the government (This does not include carbines or semi-auto weaponry)
2. Mentally unhealthy people should not have access to weapons (Have to provide documentation stating you are mentally fit)
3. Criminals should not be able to purchase weapons
4. If first time purchasing a weapon you should have to watch a mandatory gun safety video
5. Don't give guns to people who will use them in a bad way (FunkBrotha10)
6. If you wish to purchase a weapon you have to dress up like a clown and make a 3 year old laugh.
In case you couldn't tell the last 2 are obviously a joke. The main points are
1. Mentally unfit people should not be able to purchase weapons.
2. Teach people proper gun safety.

Also note that people become mentally unhealthy, they could be healthy when buying the gun, and unhealthy when using it. 3. Imagine that: Gun salesman "are you a criminal" Criminal "no" Gun salesman "ok, here's your gun" 4. Most shootings occur when the gunman isn't trying to be safe. 5. Again, imagine the situation Gun salesman "are you going to use this gun in a bad way" hitman/criminal/psychopath "no" Gun salesman "oh ok, here's your gun"
