The main quality I'd give Halo 4 is it's story. Even with it's problems, it's the first Halo game that actually took the EU seriously, and it has a plot that isn't watered down for the first time since Halo 2. It holds significance, and the Campaign itself has some fantastic dialogue. It has good character design (barring Palmer), and goes over the advanced concept of the Forerunners quite nicely. To each their own, 343i has my respect in this area.
