Just wondering what parts of the campaign are particularly difficult on Legendary. I got myself up to Reclaimer (Mission on the Mammoth) and haven't had too much issue thus far. Any rage inducing moments to watch out for? Because frankly I don't recall a lot of the campaign from when I did it on release.

It really only gets hairy in the last two missions, but nothing above and beyond typical legendary Halo action.
-
The only part that really sucks is when the Knights warp at you. You just start over, learn how best to defeat them, and move on, but I found that particular aspect to be cheap.
-
My first playthrough was a solo legendery run. No parts stand out.
-
This has the easiest legendary mode of all the halos, you'll be just fine.
-
Reclaimer made me rage. All of the marines died, all of the UNSC vehicles also destroyed. Had to take out all the enemy vehicles with an assault rifle.
-
Dawn: Jackal ranger + beam rifle = hard to spot Requiem: that bridge can be a pain and that last area is even worse (you only get like 1 checkpoint...) Forerunner: overrated. Just rush the pylon sections and skip Promethean vs. Covie fights Infinity: that holdout fight can be annoying but it's pretty manageable Reclaimer: NEVER attempt this normally Shutdown: same thing as Reclaimer Composer: this level is awesome Midnight: that Broadsword run can be annoying, lots of open combat with very little reliable cover Hardest levels IMO: Reclaimer, Shutdown, Midnight

Well i've got myself up to the last level now; leaving that for another day (Perhaps in the morning). It's actually much easier than I had expected, even after everyones posts.

Edited by Phwip: 1/17/2013 8:21:26 PMYou're fine as long as you pick up a deployable turret whenever you can. I didn't my first legendary run and it was only difficult at the end.
-
There's nothing to worry about. The game is hilariously easy on Legendary. Just be sensible; use power weapons when you can and make sure you have plenty of DMR/BR/Carbine/Light Rifle ammo and Plasma Pistols are still useful. Really though its not really that hard.
-
None, Halo 4's Legendary Campaign is incredibly easy.
-
When the Lich disables the Mammoth during Reclaimer, and you get an arseton of Covie vehicles swarming around it. That took me perhaps years to do on SoLegendary the first time. Mind, I didn't realise there were any Warthogs to use in the Mammoth at the time, and used all of the conventional ammo I could lay my hands on to take all the vehicles down. >_>

The last 5 or 6 minutes leading up to the didact. So much rage.
-
The only part I found difficult was On Forerunner on the second pylon. Damn Banshee's...
-
Long as you keep an incinerator cannon at the end, none of it is particularly difficult. Though I did have one point where I kept getting spawn killed... that sucked. More importantly, I still haven't done a single level co-op for the two achievements so if anybody ever wants to, let me know hah.
-
None. Plasma pistol, DMR, and plasma nades are all you need.
-
There are a few parts that are hard on Legendary. Just make sure to have full stock of ammo as much a possible , also keep a headshot weapon on you. Those help immensely.

Edited by SweetTRIX: 1/17/2013 6:11:45 PMI don't think there was a portion that require more than a few tries. Maybe the section in the jungle where it's just you and some marine holding out for Cortana to open the doors, but other than that it isn't that bad. Compared to the others i'd say it was about on par with Reach difficulty wise, easier than CE and 2, but harder than Halo 3.
-
For the last mission, try and keep an Incineration Cannon handy to deal with the Battlewagons. That was the only part I had any real trouble with.
-
The last level is the hardest IMO. But still all you need to do is grab a light rifle and snipe, you can even take out the Knights pretty easily by doing that.
-
Edited by Xynadria: 1/17/2013 6:50:48 PMThe final mission when there's 20+ knights at once is a bitch. That particular mission took me a few hours but I finished the Legendary Solo campaign in about 14 hours. Not wholly difficult.

you can always watch good guides on you tube.

Nah its pretty easy. There's a few parts where Binary rifles will piss you off but besides that it's practically all run n gun.
