The problem with semi-auto guns
The problem I have with semi-auto guns is that they're quite already close to being fully automatic deathmachines. My friend had bought a semi auto rifle and WITH A SHOESTRING changed it to fully auto. I think we should ban semi auto firearms also.

Actually, he probably didn't turn the weapon to a fully automatic. It's much more likely that he used to shoe string to do a technique called bump firing, which isn't illegal (though it will get you kicked out of most gun ranges). Bump firing is absolutely the worst possible way of operating a weapon in combat by the way, aside from perhaps shooting gangsta style or doing a gun twirl.
