Fusions everywhere in PvP

I don’t mind fusions as long as it’s not the Jiunn toaster fusion, only noobs who are skill-less use it.

1 ReplyThe abundance of special ammo has made shotguns extremely OP as well, 80% of the time they oneshot in ideal range, no windup and you get 2 guaranteed shots per respawn and more on kills. If fusions were that OP I guess you should tel the pvp streamers because they all crutch shotguns Insta kill every time no windup Fusions you can bait out make them waste their shots super easily if they are pre charging and if they arent pre chargers u can just run up to them and shotgun

2 RepliesYou won't get vooped nearly as much if you stay near cover and play smart. It's funny. In real life nobody would ever run straight down the middle of every open space in a gunfight, yet that's exactly what most people do in pvp. In D1 I played a lot of Rumble or whatever they called it in D1, and there were always those people trying to ape with juggernaut and a shotgun. I would destroy them with either a sidearm or a fusion. Yet "fusions are op". Maybe if you put some thought into the current meta? Graviton is an issue though. It's a very important gun for solo players, but it's used by pvp noobs because it has no downside. It works optimally at almost any range. I have a solution for that though... Remember the "solo operative' artifact mod? Put an origin perk on the exotics that are such clear outliers in pvp called "solo operative'. If you are running solo it gets it's full power that it has now... If you are in matchmaking make the black hole perk not active. Same with Outbreak's nanites and things like threadlings. Not only would that help pvp, it would tone down the strike playlist.

As a Fusion player with 4k kills on my Glaciocasm, a good shotgun player beats me every time. Plus, if I miss my shot I'm dead. It's a high risk/reward thing.

Edited by Hawpy: 11/30/2024 9:47:31 PMAccording to Destiny Tracker, there are 7 Shotguns (Compass Rose, Matador, Prophet of Doom, Conditional Finality, Deadlock, Someday, Scavenger's Fate) with higher usage than the most-used Fusion Rifle (Plug One). As a whole, the community will never shy away from using what is best, easiest and most consistent - that's why Graviton Lance is top dog right now. No one is going to put on bad weapons so they can appease you on the other team.

26 RepliesBlindly rushing in a straight line is what gave my xur ingredient 7.5k crucible kills, so you can imagine it wasnt this season i got all these kills, i fry apes for a long time bud, you guys cant help yourselves to think for 2 secs, you see that open lane you wann run into a straight line to slide shoot someone, not if im on your match. 😂

So far I have only ran into a couple FR runners in IB, and those was a guy with a Plug1.1, one with a toaster and a fool with a glacioclasm that had no cool how to use it. Been far more invis shotgun hunters (go figure) then FR runners by FAR! Oh and an occasional sniper but rare too. Now I have ran into a couple (and they were in a fireteam) who ran with infinite special ammo and glaives. Report them real quick!

I love fusions, it’s funny beating players with a fission rifle and then they pull out a fusion rifle.. and they clearly don’t use fission rifles that much hahaha hilarious
