I use Last Rite scout rifle, does a lot of damage, best I have found for scout rifles. My main issue with combat overall is the seriously capped ammo amounts you can carry. What's the point of having a heavy weapon if it only has 5 shots, then unless you waste a mod spot, you hunt forever for more ammo. We need to be able to carry more special/heavy ammo. I will also say though, that i spent 3 days grinding out an auto rifle, only to find it was nearly useless against just about anything. I had to nearly empty a clip to drop a reg npc. That's just sad. I'm good with scout rifles, sometimes I just wanna sit somewhere and watch heads pop. SMG's are a complete failure as well, I have emptied clips into enemies, then had to reload to finish them. A lot of the weapons I find are trash, even exotics are often "Yay! I got it! Aawww....why does this one suck too?!".
