In some cases you might already be using a weapon/element that it wants you to use- but in other cases it just restricts your loadout and ability regeneration. Nobody liked champs, nobody liked the old raid lair modifiers, nobody liked Matchgame. Who at Bungie thought we would feel any different about this? Banes are a step in the right direction for modifiers, the restricting and limiting options with terrible penalties for trying to do so is just awful. What? You want me to worry about weapons that can deal with champs that rely on the artifact AND also worry about a modifier nuking my damage? No thanks. Games are supposed to be fun, not aggravating.
