PvP feels unplayable now
Crucible sucks and they just keep making it worse and worse. This is probably the worst it’s felt in a long time and the worst matchmaking/lobby “balancing” for solo players I’ve ever seen ever and I’ve played since D1.

If you dont play meta like they want you to.....you are doomed. Just play a Titan or Hunter and be skill-less with a pulse rifle in the back. So tired fo rolling around the corner to be firing lined down from across the map.

As a veteran of Destiny 1's pre-alpha, where the very foundations of Crucible were laid bare before the masses, and as a Wayfarer who has conquered every corner of the game's universe, I've been the paragon of performance in every match I've graced with my presence.

Edited by longevity: 11/25/2024 3:55:20 PMbeen playing crucible for a LONG time still the same issues, although the player base might be leaner now so matchmaking is a bit rougher premades vs pugs always sucks, need less of it intentionally laggy players need to be banned or put in matches with other intentionally laggy matches even if it means long q times high movement/aiming-skill players need to be matched against each other in the skill breakouts because these players are generally in a class of their own and can only be defended against by lower skill players in long range lanes. This group includes a lot of mouse users on consoles. We see a lot of long range laners now because the matchmaking isn't separating these groups enough

Exactly how it is I’m in Australia Playing the same people on 4-5 wins in trials as I’m playing on 0 wins in trials. Your search is broken Can’t find anything in comp unless I wait 30 mins. Sorry but fun is gone

1 ReplyDepends on perspective Mostly those who have a negative KD love the pulse rifle meta due to it ease of use and low ttk But higher KD players hate the pulse meta due to lack of skill differential in gun fights.

They think pvp doesn’t make them any money so it doesn’t matter. Look at how little reward there is for playing it This means it has no draw to players outside of enjoying playing it and well that seems to have went the way of this game being a looter shooter

Just wait for Iron Banner. The new armor is gonna pull a bunch of players who usually never touch Crucible (myself included) into The Grinder. For those two weeks, or at least the first week, y’all will have a fresh influx of fodder. Make the most of it. -
