Name change
Hello -
I haven’t logged in to destiny in a few years and when I did I noticed my name changed to guardian ####- I went to identity to change and use my old name but it states I already changed once - which I have not.
My name is not offensive or anything so should not be on a banned list.
Is there a way to change because I do not want the generated name guardian ####.

Hey there, that message is misleading. Basically the name you are trying to use is being blocked by the filter, that message about only changing one time is something from back when we did only have one name change. It is not saying 'you can't change because you already did'. If you can try to submit a new name, that is proof that you do have name changes available, and if you haven't changed in years, you should have a few available at this time. So you can still change it, you might just have to choose something else. Sometimes the filter is overzealous and certain combinations of letters used innocently within a word may set it off. There unfortunately isn't really anything you can do, but just letting you know that you do have name changes and should be able to change if you try a few other things.
