It’s really annoying that it spawns on top of the cliff outside of the map. I nearly did a solo run until she spawned so far back I couldn’t hit her. Please fix this. Because it wasn’t always broken she used to spawn on the ground and now it’s a toss up on if you get lucky enough to skip that one.

Yeah I thought it was like a new update and a new Spawn for it but didn't know it was a spawning bug. Best thing I do is, if I get one swipe at it, I just use a lock on rocket launcher and it's done. Still it is annoying

I had to figure out where the heck sorrows harbour was. Can’t even remember the last time I was on the moon of my own free will, lol.

Have encountered this uncooperative witch / wizard quite a lot of late…and have seen many Guardians simply stand around, befuddled…or simply bounce. There is a strategy that requires a Guardian with a sword to break the shield, whilst another Guardian lets rip with a Super or a rocket / heavy MG. It’s almost doable solo, but more often than not, either the witch flits about just out of reach too much, and/or a mob of hyper-aggressive red- and yellow bar hive flood the area below… This witch will soon become a fixture in the area, and will get a name…Aunt Sally, perhaps?! 🤔 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫡

Fair point however PVP should be prioritized over such a niche bug

The workaround is so counter intuitive it’s not even funny; you either jump up with a titan with high lift from the left to right and use the light attack to hold yourself high enough and tip of the sword her shield off through the push back barrier mechanic of the invisible wall you should be able to easily clear. Second way is strand+navigator with catalyst to Gordion knot up and grapple punch her teeth in. Third use warlock with winters guile kill four dorks fast with the sword jump up and break the wizard in two light attacks. It’s a pain to play around but it is possible(although odious).

Haha I had this issue too! If you jump and spam light attack you can kind of get it but sometimes you also do some crazy physics and fly about 100 metres.

Edited by eliteg: 11/23/2024 4:29:58 PMMan I have responded to each one of these posts with how to do it... it is easy once you figure it out.. here it is again: 1. Grab the sword from the knight 2. Jump onto the little fence thing that will give you added height before your jump to the wizard 3. Jump as high as your class lets you (and into the wizard/ledge) and light sword attack into the wizard multiple times 4. This will keep you up there regardless of physics (do not heavy attack) 5. You can fully kill the wizard this way but pretty tricky.. all you need is to bust its shield 6. You then shoot from the ground and kill the wizard

Been like this since last year gotta love when the enemy AI takes a fancy to OOB'ing must be a froggy fan lol

Wizard can be moved towards you if you toss a Glacier grenade behind it to launch it forwards, alternatively the Salvation's Grip Stasis Heavy GL can be used to push the wizard around or if need be it can drop him to ground level. Do not push wizard with rocket-pistol it will push him too far away. When the wizard first pops in go get a sword and hop up to him using terrain for better altitude, use a light attack for shield and then kill with a Special Ammo gun or Heavy. TL-dr: To move wizard, Stasis booms. No rocket-pistols, if on spawn-in use light attack.

I think its a fun opportunity for teamwork. I generally try to bounce the wizard in enough of a direction for someone else to hit with the swords. All kinds of things will bounce it around.
