Cross-platform gaming
Hello, i have some problem accessing my characters on ps4 platform.
I linked my Steam account together with other platforms and passed the authorization successfully, but after I entered my PS account, I had no access to my characters, only the ability to create a new one. I thought I didn't have access to my account and the character transfer didn't happen, but after I created a new character I went into the game and had to start all over again how do I get access to my characters, because the clan and friends are available, that is, the transfer of the account seems to have taken place but without characters. Please tell me how to fix this situation or will I be able to access my characters?

Hello, Unfortunately I believe the others are correct. It seems as though you chose the wrong account to share your characters. I believe you are still seeing your friends list because friends are tied with your bungie account not necessarily your platform account which would be either steam, PS, etc. Sadly to fix this you would have to disable cross save and try again, but you will have a 90 day lockout of cross save when you disable it. You can still play on the platform the characters were originally created on but that is all. Good luck sorry about your issue.

2 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp3: 11/22/2024 3:35:33 PMHi there, It seems you recently activated Cross Save, and selected Steam as your active account, meaning that all linked platform accounts will default to showing your Steam progress/characters. However, in activating Cross Save, [b]you did not include your PlayStation account[/b] in the linking process. Therefore, if you wish to link PlayStation as well, you would have to disable Cross Save, wait out the mandatory cooldown of 90 days, and then enable Cross Save again, this time making sure to link all desired platforms of play to your desired active account (presumably Steam).
