Shield Break Charge is a terrible Armor Mod for having an Energy Cost of four. I have two suggestions:
1. Reduce the cost to one and keep it as is.
2. Allow it to grant an armor charge upon breaking any shield (including Anti-Barrier Champion shields) but increase its Energy Cost to five.
Because this is the Bungie forums (home to many contrarians, trolls, and a-holes), I’m sure there’ll be at least one person telling me how great it is and how they use it all the time to solo, blindfolded, one-handed, melee only the Witness. But it’s not true. It’s a mod with a good core concept but in desperate need of an update. Please consider.

It is a great mod tho. For ranged builds. If you’re running a solar exotic and there are many wizards out there; you can run triple surges for free . Especially solo or when your team isn’t making orbs, grabbing your orbs on enemy death isn’t always an option. 4 energy seems fine to me. Potentially a free 21% dmg boost if you know the shields in your activity.
