You really want people to play your new game? Here’s there reason people won’t play Marathon. You’ve had Destiny for over 10 years and refused to make the PvP experience worth playing. You said it wouldn’t be cost effective to have dedicated servers. You said it wasn’t the core of the game. Not only did you lose players you lost the game. The player base is only a fraction of what it was but it’s basically non existent. Your CEO was so worried about buying classic cars, you shoved that the creative side of your game so low that players quit. They’re not coming back. You pushed your creators into a crunch and made them feel like they’re responsible but it’s not their fault. You did this. You forgot that players make the game and for years you put us off. You claimed that you were doing something but you were just sitting on your hands while creators were giving ides and begging for those ideas to happen because they were listening to the community. You did nothing while the CEO was going to another car auction and buying his next new fantasy ride and ignored the community. Marathon will be dead on arrival because you lied to the community. You lied to the devoted players who believed that you would do something right. You lied and that’s all it takes from the developers of a game like Halo who used to listen and stopped when the money took more of an important role than the players. You lied. You let us down and you eliminated jobs and ruined people’s lives that believed in the vision you sold not only to them but to the players who you never intended to be there for. You lied. Good luck selling a game to people that will look at this game and think you did something great when you could have done something so much better.
