Nobody uses Arc. Prismatic has everything that’s good in Arc and more, AND it has survivability for all classes.
Sure, Titans have knockout and Hunters have combination blow. Warlocks have nothing, and the other two have it tied to a melee or an aspect. Give Arc some good survivability, given how close you have to get to enemies for it to be effective.
And don’t give us some awful damage res, like you did with frost armour. It’s so useless.
Edit: Have the healing aspect of arc be tied to amplified, that makes it much simpler.

Or up the damage and make it a proper glass cannon.
Edit: Have the healing aspect of arc be tied to amplified, that makes it much simpler.
This sounds like a good idea. Make it a new verb. Recharge Ionic Traces gives a brief period of dramatically increased healing. Being Amplified extends this effect. This would be similar to the way Well of Radiance heals but toned down. What makes it stand out is it starts healing and taking damage would reduce health but it doesn't make it stop.

The Amplified Damage Resist perk on the Artifact during the Plunder, Deep, and Echo Seasons was very useful, made it much easier to survive most incoming attacks while running around and picking up Orbs of Power. I use Arc a lot but I don't think it particularly needs healing. Two Subclasses have Healing already (Solar and Void) while another two have Damage Resistance (Stasis and Strand) so it does make more sense for Arc to be in between and focus on fast Ability recharging. Titan has Insurmountable Skullfort on Melee kills, which also exists on Warlock with Karnstein Armlets, not sure what Hunters get other than Liar's Handshake but there are alternative options for healing. It would be nice to have an Aspect or Fragment that gives that Amplified damage resist, but even adding it to Exotic Armor would work.

Arc warlock survivability comes from the class having really high rift uptime. The Arc soul aspect gives rift regen for just standing next to allies, ionic traces give 15% class ability energy (30% with sunstar), vesper and crown both crank your rift regen a ton. Yeah the class could use some buffs (both supers and lightning surge) but saying it has zero survivability is just misunderstanding this class.
Im all for giving amplified ~15% dr btw
Yeah, Arc needs a ton of help. Arc Titan has always been kinda mid, and Arc Hunter, which was the only truly viable Arc subclass, has been catching nerfs left right and centre, because of Prismatic. And then there's "Arc Soul, the Subclass"... I mean Arc Warlock. Bungie took everything good about it, nerfed it substantially, and then gave it to the other classes and let them use it better. Arc Warlock can barely even be considered a subclass, it's basically just an Arc Soul generator, and that's the only thing Bungie seems to remember it can do, cuz that's the only part of Arclock that they've given meaningful buffs to.

Tbf warlocks do have rifts but that’s for every warlock class. They should make amplified like banner of war from temu -
They talk about being able to respond to a fight in the crucible and knowing what happened and then in the game…… scorn snipers
