Shield Break Charge is a terrible Armor Mod for having an Energy Cost of four. I have two suggestions:
1. Reduce the cost to one and keep it as is.
2. Allow it to grant an armor charge upon breaking any shield (including Anti-Barrier Champion shields) but increase its Energy Cost to five.
Because this is the Bungie forums (home to many contrarians, trolls, and a-holes), I’m sure there’ll be at least one person telling me how great it is and how they use it all the time to solo, blindfolded, one-handed, melee only the Witness. But it’s not true. It’s a mod with a good core concept but in desperate need of an update. Please consider.

Emergency reinforcement also needs a rework since it is worse than a plain resistance mod.

Personally, I think it should keep the same energy cost, but provide one armour charge when breaking any shield, and 2 when breaking a matching shield. And yes, Barrier Champ shields should count.

Shield break charge is awful. Should be resided to 2 cost, and champ shields should be included by default.
