so, i wanted a kt pulse, got red borders for sacred provenance, crafted it and started to level it up, was a tad scared that it being an aggressive was gona be counterproductive for a kt roll, i went to mars to test the damage per bullet
wanted to se how it compared to other archetipes, thats when i saw a chattering bone in the vault, "oh yeah, lightweights are a thing" same rpm, 450, less impact (27 vs 35) also has kt so it could work, went to test aaaand.... it does more damage per bullet
none of the perks added damage, went to a lost sector to test if the damage was being affected by anything and the -blam!- difference was even more, its like 100+ per bullet, not game breaking but yh
now, i want someone to explain how in the world 2 guns with the same rpm have different damage and the one that supousedly has more is the one that does less??? i can get it when they are diferent guns, never felt strage for the precision frame auto (also 450rpm) to have different damage, thats just game logic right there but this... i guess the impact is calculated per trigger pull so the 35 is for the 4 burst and not per bullet, there is also that impact its trash and only reflects damage well on swords so who knows
something like this also happens with smgs, same rpm but different damage, but atleast the impact goes to par with the damage

You really don’t see a difference with 4 bullets and three bullet pulses? Obviously damage per bullet will be different. They are different archetypes. As far as your smg analogy you were probably looking at lightweight and adaptive 900 rpms once again two different archetypes.
