Chicken Alfredo
====================
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
1 head of broccoli
1 jar of store-bought Alfredo sauce (you’ll find it in the pasta/foreign cuisine aisle)
1 tbsp of diced green onions
1 tbsp of diced garlic
10 oz of cooked spaghetti/rigatoni
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 frying pan
1 pot of boiling water (if you haven’t cooked the pasta yet)
Salt and pepper
1 pinch of oregano
=====================
Procedure:
1. Season the two chicken breasts with salt and pepper and oregano. Cut the chicken into little cubes. Don’t make them too small.
2. Wash your hands dammit! You just touched raw meat!
3. Cut the broccoli head into little florets. Should be the same size as the chicken cubes. You should only use half of the broccoli head for this recipe.
4. Grease the frying pan with olive oil and set over medium heat. Sauté the broccoli for about 3 minutes. Add the chicken and cook for 6 minutes (3 minutes on each side or until cooked completely.
5. Add garlic and green onions and lower the heat to low. Cook until you can smell the garlic (2 minutes).
6. Add half of the jar of Alfredo. Cook until you can see it bubbling in the pan. Remove from heat.
7. Assuming you know how to boil pasta, boil the pasta in a pot of boiling water. Strain it when the pasta is fork tender.
8. Toss pasta with Alfredo/chicken mixture and serve immediately.
