I will do my best to capture footage and add to this post, but this has been a pretty unpredictable bug that I only started experiencing yesterday after the launch of Act II. When playing activities, my frame rate will suddenly drop drastically for roughly a full second, freezing me on a single frame, which is frustrating. I have noticed this most when using Arc abilities and playing the new Tomb/Contest of Elders game modes, but they still happen otherwise less frequently. I will state again that this is a new problem I have never had with Destiny before the Act II update. The only other programs I run besides Destiny have not changed either, but they are Discord, Spotify, and sometimes Firefox. Closing these does not solve the issue.
I play on PC and I use Windows 10. My graphics processor is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, my central processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core, and I have 16GB of RAM if I'm reading this right. If I need to provide any more information.
If anyone has any tips or clarifying questions I would appreciate any help on this issue. Thank you so much!
