The loot rng is awful. The perk rng is awful. Another week with no icebreaker and double armor dropping from the other encounters. Destiny 2 is not rewarding. This episode has a horrible artifact, and everything the team does is a miss. The modifiers suck. Bane enemies suck. Destiny 2 sucks for reasons that could be addressed, but bungie is too busy patting each other on the back for garbage work.

You are correct, sir! One thing to note: Artifact design is EXTREMELY TRICKY and EXTREMELY COMPLICATED. Well, let me restate this: [b]CLEVER[/b] Artifact design is EXTREMELY TRICKY and EXTREMELY COMPLICATED. There needs to be clever fusion, between the artifact, (new) gear type and class, encounter surges, etc. But this is VERY TRICKY to be designed, and you basically need to write tools (i.e. software) to do this for you because of the millions of dependencies between all those factors. The game is a reflection of the people in the studio writing the lore/story, writing the code, writing the perks, rng, encounters and so on. So in effect, this has little to do with "the game" and everything to do with "the people" who are at Bugnie right now. Hint: Look up the threads about Bugnie's layoffs on X.com.....
