Destiny is unenjoyable.
The loot rng is awful. The perk rng is awful. Another week with no icebreaker and double armor dropping from the other encounters. Destiny 2 is not rewarding. This episode has a horrible artifact, and everything the team does is a miss. The modifiers suck. Bane enemies suck. Destiny 2 sucks for reasons that could be addressed, but bungie is too busy patting each other on the back for garbage work.

1 ReplyI 'half' agree...I love playing the game. I still enjoy PvP. However you're right. The loot this season could be better especially weapons armour linked to new activities. I'm looking forward to Iron Banner tho. Some cool new armour there.👍🏻

1 ReplyThis game hasnt been rewarding for a long time The perk rng is shocking and has no been fixed at all I've heard from a few people who were getting double armor drops in the dungeon lol Some of the modifiers they are using inside GM's are shocking as well. They do not pay attention to what the community wants unless its a streamer complaining about it

2 RepliesThis is also the most bugs we've seen in a Season to date. Every activity has shipped broken in some way. Onslaught, Vesper's, even Haunted Sectors have all had some manner of bugs at launch. That even includes Prison of Elders. I was doing a Challenge run earlier this week, and we got soft locked on the one where you need to gather six explosives around the room

The complete removal of seasonal crafting was such an irrational, knee jerk reaction. No moderation whatsoever. All they had to do was make it so that only activity completion drops could be red borders. Make random drops enhanceable, no weekly freebie red borders, no red borders from focusing or vendor engram claiming. That’s it. Both sides appeased. Instead we have this awful tonic system where in act 2 we’re actually unlocking second act 1 weapon tonics instead of just getting tonics for the new weapons. We’re grinding materials again. 🤦♂️ The dungeon weapon chase STILL lacks meaningful agency. At least we got a chest that only one person can focus per run though. 🤦♂️ Festival of the lost is, I believe still the only event without a chance for double perk drops, and the activity didn’t change. Then we get annoying, punitive modifiers as a way to impose challenge.

3 RepliesYou are correct, sir! One thing to note: Artifact design is EXTREMELY TRICKY and EXTREMELY COMPLICATED. Well, let me restate this: [b]CLEVER[/b] Artifact design is EXTREMELY TRICKY and EXTREMELY COMPLICATED. There needs to be clever fusion, between the artifact, (new) gear type and class, encounter surges, etc. But this is VERY TRICKY to be designed, and you basically need to write tools (i.e. software) to do this for you because of the millions of dependencies between all those factors. The game is a reflection of the people in the studio writing the lore/story, writing the code, writing the perks, rng, encounters and so on. So in effect, this has little to do with "the game" and everything to do with "the people" who are at Bugnie right now. Hint: Look up the threads about Bugnie's layoffs on X.com.....

2 RepliesDisagree with Banes. I actually like them, they keep you on your toes. You never know where you're going to see them or what kind you're going to get, it's refreshing. A damn sight better than boring Chumps that's for sure.

I took a break. And after that phase I enjoy it again... but not as the same as it was. Revenant isn't a good Episode. I know Bungie can do better, but that's the most frustrating part of it, regarding the current outcome.

There’s too many great games out there to be wasting your time on Destiny. The main story is over and Bungie has no direction with what to do next. Their Infinity War and Endgame are already finished. Now Bungie is trying to desperately keep your attention with Episode 1: She Hulk and Episode 2: WandaVision. Brand assassination.

Today was I doing the tomb on contest mode and on the last round I died and the game would not revive me on purpose so we would fail the activity. It said that it was looking for location to respawn me....WTF...it does not make any sense other than they want you to fail the activity to continue grinding. The game did not revive me and so my team failed and the activity ended so we did not finish it. This is so garbage because I wasted an hour and the game made us fail on purpose...shady tactics Bungie. I logged off and stopped playing. I hope everyone quits this trash game!!!

Yeah it's funny I know a few people who said similar things to YouTubers like mushroom and those people I know got banned off mushroom's channel.. ex Like I told a couple of those people most likely that happened to you because most of these terrible choices by bungee is not being made by bungee; it's feedback from streamers because for some reason whenever the game becomes unpopular or unfun and you talk bad about it you hear some streamer cursing at those players..

I am not exactly sure about this but some of the forum guys were claiming that icebreaker drop chance is increased when you run the full dungeon instead of completing CP only.. My case was different tho, I got super lucky I guess. It dropped for me on week 2 on the first try completing cp
