Braytech Warewolf
That rewind rounds/kinetic tremors roll would not drop for me after many, many useless haunted lost sectors and engrams. I spent hours grinding for it, got nothing and feel stupid and exhausted.
I got more shotguns and Jurassic greens (this gun is insta trash) thrown at me than I knew what to do with but the auto was one of the rarer drops for me. I got some repeated rolls too, making me wonder if the bug is still a program...
it's this kind of crap which makes me want to leave

10 RepliesA heads up, you're better off trying Zavala for an Origin Story if you want a 450 with KT. It's a vastly superior gun. Sure it doesn't roll with rewind rounds, but it has plenty of other perks it can roll with that are just as/or if not better. You can also get up to three perks per column making it far more versatile. Focusing it is a hell of a lot easier than trying your luck with the Hunted Lost Sector grind and RnG. I have both guns with KT and honestly won't use the Werewolf.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 11/19/2024 9:52:20 PMIt’s not that great. Takes to long to activate on a 450. And it sounds like somebody banging a sheet metal cake pan with a spoon, pretty irritating sound. Used it for 20 minutes, was underwhelmed and tossed it in the vault.

same thing happened to me when i tried to farm slick draw os compas rose for 3 weeks straight and didn't get anything even close and then bungo released 10x as good shotguns a month or two later. gotta love bungie.

Way too much candy required to focus, only spent 1 day grinding that event because it just wasnt worth the time investment. They never seemed to learn from OG Onslaught.

I managed to get kinetic tremors but couldn’t get the other perks that I would rather have over the ones that were given to me. Better than getting none I guess.

Grinded for 3 weeks as well and could not get Breytech with rewind/kinetic to drop. It’s ok though, I got many PVP Breytech drops with DSR and onslaught/kill clip etc. However, I think drop rate throttling is definitely a thing with Bungie that should not exist.

I know its over but maybe this will help in future events: I would only do the higher level event solo, once I saw that an engram will not drop from guaranteed from the lower level activity, and it took 12-20 min but it is a guaranteed engram or 2 plus weapon drops (not even sure it matters how many headless you get). Then I just focused almost 100% on braytech werewolf even though I hate its sharp sound.. ...so got 2 of those rolls and FYI not super impressed with it.. pugilist + KT.. actually seemed to fill melee pretty nice when I tested just before deleting so hung on to that.. kept an onslaught varietal.. and pvp a couple I guess >> dont worry the FOMO will pass the CCX with KT + AO offered to all at Banshee is a beast as I have been using since it dropped from Iron Banner months ago > that will change up your gamestyle.. thats a worthy addition.

I got a few of what you are looking for. What I couldn't get to drop after weeks of playing and hours and hours each day was an Acosmic with Withering Gaze and Destabilizing rounds. It's stuff like this which makes me want a trade system in this game.

I also didn't get a single engram drop AT ALL in the final week of the event, despite doing multiple Haunted Sector runs on all three characters. I wouldn't let it worry you though; if it's any good Bungie will either nerf it or make the weapon archetype invalid for the next 12 months anyway.

I got mine with the last 1k candy I had last night, I have focused the vast majority of engrams since day 1 and getting that perk combo has seemed disproportionately difficult. I don't do PvP anymore but got an S tier kill clip / dynamic sway ricochet and chambered that I'll keep just in case PvP crawls out of the cesspit someday. I've also kept an Onslaught / Rewind high cal roll for some auto rifle goes brrrr fun.
