Osteo Striga deserves better.
Tl;dr it was at one point a powerhouse that was equally fun to play around with, but is totally lackluster now and this pains me.
Also, on a side note, glaive melee synergy when? For example, glaive melee spawning orbs?

SMGs were op for years, im kinda glad they tuned them down -blam!- osteo especially. Wish they could do the same with graviton lance. Weapon is just broken op.

Agreed osteo got nuked. They should give glaives a powered melee attack. Consume all the ammo in the magazine to unleash a heavy attack that counts as a powered melee.

It was one of my fireteam members favorite guns. I still pull it out every once in a while when i need to do smg stuff. Its always a little surprising how lackluster it is now. It doesnt feel very different from something with incandescent and overflow. I hope they bring it back to its glory days. It wasnt trivializing anything. It was a good primary for add clear that was a step up in power level from a legendary, which it should be.

Used it today doing a quick Spire run. While it definitely isn't the gun it used to be, it still works. I'd agree they went too hard on it, but thats Bungo for ya, they always do. It's how they get people to play the "new thing" Make it OP as hell for a season or so then completely destroy it when the wanna push the next "new thing". Just wait until you see whats going to happen to Concentration.

I would be happier if they just took everything else off the gun, Id be ok without 100 shots, or even if they nerved the poison damage on top of that, but having the gun only work every 4 seconds just makes it feel like a no perk smg, like riskrunner if you never take arc damage its just a crap smg

I really only every used it during Vec Incursion to keep the Minotaurs immunity shields down, or with my warlock and Necrotic Grip. Now that you can just buy the new exotics, I haven't even looked at Vex Incursions, and my Warlock has been on a prismatic turret build, so I haven't touched the gun in forever.
