This is now the second time I am having an issue with the Twitch drops. Before, it was with the recently released Revenant Echo emblem. However, this time around, I am having a different issue.
According to the drops page over on Twitch, the We Begin in the Stars emblem drop campaign started on Nov 12, 1pm EST, and ended on the same day, 2:59pm EST. In order to earn the drop, had to watch at least 15 minutes of Bungie's Revenant Act 2 livestream, or another participating live channel, which Twitch had hyperlinked to many popular D2 streamers. It goes without saying, you must also have you Twitch and Destiny 2 accounts connected.
Now, I unfortunately was only able to catch part of the tail-end of the livestream, which was only a few minutes, as I was only able to progress about 26% through the required 15 minute goal before Bungie ended their stream. I swapped over to Aztecross' stream for a while after Bungie's stream and even stopped in GrenaderJake's stream for a bit to see if it was an issue with a specific streamer's drops. I found that I was no longer progressing, as it seemed like the cut-off was around when Bungie ended THEIR live stream, which was around 2PM, iirc. I even screen recorded all of this, about 45 minutes worth of footage showing this issue, for proof of my sufficient watch-time during the stated time period on the drops page, and to potentially bring this up to Bungie Support should the situation actually prevent me from obtaining the drop, which it did.
I can provide video proof if needed, but I would like to voice my frustrations as a committed D2 player and Bungie supporter. I understand these emblems are exclusive and drive engagement on streams, and it's for the community at the end of the day. Regardless of that, whether it be an unintentional background issue or an incorrectly displayed time on the Twitch drops page, there was a lack of clarity here that is not fair to players who spent their time watching the livestreams. (Which, by the way, I even saw other people in stream chats voicing the same issue.) While it really does not take much effort to watch these streams, I still do have to somewhat go out of the way in order to tune in. While this doesn't really matter to most, I was at work during the livestream, and was reminded by my buddy that the stream was going on today, and tried tuning in when I could, which was within the stated parameters. I don't even think there is a set end time given by Bungie for these streams, and if there was one, I didn't hear about it. It's like if you don't tune in at the start, you could be screwed over and miss out because we don't know it will end.
I apologize, as I probably come across as an entitled player and member of the community who's making a BIG WHOOP about missing out on the shiny new exclusive thing that everyone wants, which just adds to the perpetual FOMO that plagues this entire game, but I don't think my frustration is unreasonable. If I can't have the emblem, I at least want to know why, as well as what measures can be taken (by Bungie) to make sure I, and other players alike, don't have this problem in the future.

Watched stream only shows 66%, will there be a rebroadcast. Stream was giving a lot of people drop problems.
