Is Mithrax becoming Nezarec?

I've been wondering about this, but it seems that he is becoming a nezarec, since the curse causes his consciousness to temporarily take over Mithrax's body. So, it is possible. Can you resolve this doubt for me? please :).

I got a slightly better question, why is this affecting mithrax and not Osiris.. Osiris drank the remains of nezarec or what ever he drank during season of plunder
