Why are there 2 Colonels in the bushes by Cayde's memorial? How long has it been since she started hanging out there? Is this foreshadowing? Because where did the other rooster come from (Not a rooster, still read on....)? Seriously, it seems like a minor thing... but that's new. If Chioma had copies... If there were multiple versions of Saint 14... Multiple Maya's... and certainly, Cayde was with Maya and the ICoV when they were creating the forks. Maybe... maybe, that's where that 2nd Hen came from. 😇 👍💠 Edit: I have gaps in my lore knowledge, lol, the Colonel is a girl... a little less convincing, to be sure... but, my point stands. Probably nothing... and he got her at the farm, so it probably actually isn't a copy. However, could still be a marker. It got me thinking 🤔 about what I said, If the ICoV made copies of Maya and Chioma... or rather, recruited them. Why not Cayde? Wasn't he involved in the very experiments that allowed for that technology and those protocols? Edit 2: Remember when Cayde said, " I hope I get it right this time". Even if we now know there are multiple timelines/universes... why would Cayde say those words? Knowing the above is different than knowing a defined... possibly engineered moment to occur in every applicable instance per his role/task. That's what, "I hope I get it right this time", indicates for. Every timeline/instance without the Anthem... without forethought and knowledge of the forces behind it, loops in infinite variations and permutations. There are inflection points... but as seen in the lore, who makes it to those inflection points and with what motivations is seemingly random without direct manipulation. That's what the Echo protocols were all about, that's why the copies were made... Of Maya... of Chioma... Cayde.
