Competitive/PVP needs fixing ASAP
The comp points are STILL BUGGED. Im in adept and beat ascendant players with the emblem, only plus 52. I lose a game to one and im down 143. Its ridiculous!!! Take the hidden sbmm out and put the point system back to what it was last season. This is horrible for everyone

PvP is a joke. Either you stomp or are stomped. Sometimes games are balanced and close, that's when it's fun. Majority but not. And then either cheating or networking issues, difficult to decide what the reasons are but outcome frustrating anyway. Worst playlist right now is QP control, comp in comparison perfectly balanced (which it's not, just to emphasise how bad control is). Never ever I will buy and play Marathon.

1 ReplyNgl I was a sweat playing this game mostly for my pvp fix I managed unbroken, back when it was hard, got glorious and flawless guilded MULTIPLE times something like 11-12 times. But the game is so laggy and my teammate are ALWAYS the worst in the lobby so I just stoped playing. Especially since Cod BO6 dropped. Cant even be bothered to grind the new ascendant emblem this season cos the point system is just plain screwed up.

1 ReplyI gave up on comp. Instead of getting better and improving, I was fighting against lag, delay, cheaters and got to the point I didn't know what to do/ how to play any more. Literally all of my friends gave up on Destiny PvP a long time ago.

And for matchmaking they want you to carry people below you. I stopped going Ascendant starting last season. On PC the game has way to many Ximmers and hard cheaters to waste me time for it. Also, as we haven't heard from the PvP strike team they hired in ages now....i am guessing they were apart of the lay offs. PvP in this game is cooked.

The point system is based on your likelihood to win, how you performed that game relative to others, and whether your "skill" matches your Comp Rank. I think the point system is more fair than simply rewarding everyone the same, especially if you're contributing more or managed to win a game with lopsided teams. Also, I like that I'm not overly penalized for losing lopsided games, either.

37 RepliesHidden SBMM? Brother it's comp and the MM is rank-based, basically a form of SBMM, which is how it's supposed to be. They do need to adjust the points though.

17 RepliesDude I just match a team with names I couldn’t read. Said to myself, why not message them to see where they are from. Fking Germany and I’m in the US. Bungie has to be the most incompetent company I’ve ever had to deal with. I mean how the fk do they think this is going to work. Oh and I asked if they used vpn and it was a big NO way and bungie just sucks!!

2 RepliesOh, but heaven forbid you leave a game that you're getting stomped in. You get that quiter penalty and/or a ban from regular crucible. You know your bleeding players when you have to force them to stay in the game regardless of their own enjoyment. I have never seen more players afk or spinning in place in my 10 years of playing this game with the rules of leaving they added. Gg bungie, really catered to the content creators instead of the player base on this

3 RepliesIdk man, I think they adjusted it. I’ve been playing in adept the past few days and have gone on some pretty brutal loosing streaks. I’m talking lost 12 out of 15 games I never lost more than 90 something points most of the time it was loose 75. All my wins give me 75 at the min but never more than 90.

Comp points have always been terrible. I don't know why they can't just make it +/- 100 (or whatever number) for each game.

4 Replieslol ! Comp and trials are done ! Just -blam!- awful to play ! Control isn’t much better ….today has been really bad …only so much players can put up with . Nothing is happening with pvp , Bungie is all over marathon 🤷🏼♂️
