I know that Bungie's CM's have said that when giving feedback you should mention how changes make you feel. Before the OOB was patched I looked forward to playing Destiny 2 everyday, with my friends striving to improve our time, we even got an 11:33 before the patch! After the patch I dreaded even thinking about opening the game. I read the patch note and lamented logging on the game to see if it was real. Even now I don't really want to log on to play anything at all. It frustrates me that something like an OOB was patched when there are several harmful issues with the dungeon.
For example:
- Tether is still not enabled
- Raneiks can still soft lock you
- The doors on the safe rooms in final encounter can open early causing you to accidentally lose your augment.
- The Marauders in the Raneiks encounter can spawn oddly causing you to clear several more waves of adds before the machine priest spawns. (4 will spawn instead of 5)
- The nuke can get stuck in the floor during DPS in final encounter causing a wipe
- The clone holding the nuke will sometimes run to the edge causing the nuke to fall off and then a wipe
- Sometimes you will randomly lose your augment in beginning area of the final encounter
It upsets me that things such as OOBS or other exploits that rarely harm the typical player experience and benefits only a handful of players such as myself gets patched. I don't think it's harmful for OOBs and other exploits to exist in PvE activities. I understand there are some exploits that give the player an extreme advantage and I get why those get patched. I do not understand why somethings that only serve to benefit a few player's experience gets patched.
I love this game and I love Vesper's Host, but this killed my motivation to play it. :(
(I think I wrote this more eloquently before but I accidentally deleted the draft)

They won't hear this and they won't read this but the high point of destiny 2 and the high point of Halo was me and my friends f****** around getting outside of bounds or launching to places in a vehicle. I'm sorry for your loss, I really wish I could have bureaucratic walk back it was so cool to see stuff outside the map
