DLCs Transfer
Hello,
the thing is, it's kinda driving me insane that cross save doesn't Transfer DLCs, bc i first started playing on Steam because that's the platform where I own most of my games. The there was the 30J Anniversary Pack for free over on Epic games which I claimed and then switched to Epic to play it. Since then I never switched platforms again and bought all the DLCs I own over on Epic. Now I played through all of them and only need the newest DLC The Final Shape sich costs 50€ or 100€ with the Annual Pass. Now my Problem is that on Epic it still costs 50-100€ but over on steam the DLC + Pass is discounted for 40% and I want to buy it but that would make sense bc then I need to download the game again to only play Final shape and everything else is on Epic. Is there a way that all my DLCs could be Transfered over to Steam and removed from Epic without Progress Loss or anything so I only own the DLCs on Steam and not on Epic anymore? It's just frustrating... I'm a kind of person who doesn't have that much money to spend on video games but I still love playing D2 and 40% off on such a Packege is great but not if I need the game installed on 2 different platforms just to save money. Pls let me know if there is anything that could help me.

1 ReplyThe DLCs are sold through the platform providers and are locked to the platform account. The platform provider gets a cut of each sale. Therefore if you buy on Steam but also want to play on Epic then you need to buy the content on both platforms. Seasons/Episodes are different because they’re in game purchases so are tied to the Bungie account, which makes them accessible across platforms via cross save/play. My advice would be to stick to a specific platform, eg Steam as keys for the DLC are available from legit places like cdkeys.com at greatly reduced cost.
