Companion app
I am getting a lot of messages in through the app wanting me to pay for them to take my account through various activities. I don't respond back to them. I will NOT pay them to take my account through anything. I will do it myself.
Is there a way to block these messages?
I still need for me to be notified when any messages are sent to me through the app. I have tried everything I can think of to get them to notify me when they are sent by players. I receive notifications via other apps, just not this app.

Bungie and the forum moderators are fully aware of bots using private messages to promote malicious goods. If you get one, you are recommended to report it and then block the user by visiting their profile. The moderators will see the report and take action. Unfortunately, the creators of the bots simply make new accounts when they get banned. Bungie security is also fully aware of this, and they are looking at possible solutions which won't harm real players.
