Why are there so many people who use these forums who think no one should ever reply to a post on here unless you agree with said post? So many people don't seem to understand that a forum isn't used for people to agree with your post 100% of the time. If some people want to only have those who agree with them saying anything, then don't use a forum. What they want is called a support group. It gets even worse when said people can't even defend their own point on their own post, so they have to hide behind private messages just to insult and cry to someone because they didn't agree with them.

We have a community that has gotten overly toxic because the decisions bungie made during early d2 caused a wave of serious negativity, which then became reinforced as people realized that they would get attention for spreading negativity. It had already existed before that point, but it was generally kept in check by people of good will and good faith. Past that point, nobody was really trying to police that anymore and keep the toxicity at or under acceptable levels. So now everybody just argues with eachother as if the opposition had killed their mother in front of them. People die on hills that aren't deserved and act like they are staking their lives on it, which they just aren't. It's a feedback forum for a video game. We could all stand to be just a little bit more tolerant of eachother, and a bit less dramatic with the whole "gaming is dying" rhetoric. Gaming is fine, destiny is fine (though I always think there's room for it to improve), and if people stopped being so over-dramatically hateful about everything, then they would be fine too.
