Why are there so many people who use these forums who think no one should ever reply to a post on here unless you agree with said post? So many people don't seem to understand that a forum isn't used for people to agree with your post 100% of the time. If some people want to only have those who agree with them saying anything, then don't use a forum. What they want is called a support group. It gets even worse when said people can't even defend their own point on their own post, so they have to hide behind private messages just to insult and cry to someone because they didn't agree with them.

I may be in the minority here, but I enjoy conversing and debating with fellow Guardians. Although we all play the same game, we do not all share the same experiences, and seeing the game through a new lens is quite enlightening. I feel the biggest issue with parties when conversing is when Person A is presenting anecdotal evidence as empirical evidence (i.e. - "Me and everyone I know feels [insert random thing here]"). Once data is brought into the fray, tensions can rise and people can lose sight of what the topic of the conversation is/was. Another issue is, and without insult to the greater community, reading comprehension. It reminds me of a meme about a Twitter/X post where someone said, "I love waffles", and a response that post was, "Oh, so you hate pancakes?". That highlights how quickly parties can be on opposing sides in an instant, versus having a healthy dialogue to understand more about the post. Additionally, when people begin discounting someone's experience where disagreements can reach a melting point, because many people don't know how to disengage healthily from a conversation. That's why many times if I find myself and an OP at different points in the conversation, I'll just say "We'll have to agree to disagree. Eyes up Guardian!". Sometimes just acknowledging our differences respectfully is enough.
