Just hoping for some official communication as to whether or not we'll be seeing previously sunset campaigns return any time soon, let alone at all.
I've had several friends quit the game over sunsetting and refuse to pick the game back up since on account of the content not yet returning--a real shame considering how excellent the game has been lately.
Mostly, my curiosity rests with the Red War and Forsaken, but a return of all Y1 and Y2 story would be most welcome.
I also understand the team is hard at work with Frontiers and Marathon, and the longer they remain out of the game the harder it may be to re-integrate legacy campaigns.
Given Hellas Basin Mars and Titan have returned in some capacities, I yet wonder why those destinations have yet to return in full as well.
Again... any communication on this is welcome, whether it's a "we're working on it", "we're thinking about it", or even, God forbid, a "we're probably not going to do it". I frequently miss the Red War's story and would rather play it again myself than relive the experience on YouTube.
Much love as always Bungie, hope to hear from you soon.

If only people would stop asking for old things to return, Bungie makes old into new and charges for something new when it is actually old with champions added
-
Won't happen the work required to bring them back isn't smart considering the state of bungie. It would eat up already limited development time and resources that they desperately need to push new content and get marathon ready to ship
-
They're not coming back. Low replayability content.
-
I wanna see Ghaul’s face when we bust out Prismatic.
-
you also have to consider the GBs storage and download required to keep all previous content, it would a lot lol
-
I don’t see them ever making a return. I don’t recall seeing anything that could be construed as indicating it’s something that would happen, but maybe I missed it ?
-
I've wondered this myself. Even if they did something like a "Legacy Content Bundle", which would be optional to download for those who would want to play it, I'd be satisfied with that. Funny thing is, the game is even larger now than it was before all that content was vaulted, which I'm not sure how that's even possible if the whole point of doing that in the first place was to free up space.

Edited by amazing_month041: 10/30/2024 6:36:17 AMthose are made with an older game engine therefore they have to rebuild everything with the current engine Although i really wanna replay Red War for example but knowing Bungie its not going to happen sadly

It’s not returning you doughnut
-
too much "tech debt" which is codeword for too much bugs stacked on each other that fixing one would break the rest of the game *cough cough* craftening *cough cough*

They ain't returning
