Before I get a bunch of people spamming that Bungie has acknowledged the issue and knows about it. I’m fully aware of the poor excuse BNG is copy and pasting to everyone regarding the issue.
Words and actions not matching up is baseline manipulation.
While I and the rest of the community see your poor excuse for a redundant and evasive response. The player experience is suffering.
The so called hard working “Bungie” employees doing everything they can is a total empty response. Your patch notes show as much with fixing trivial text issues and non game breaking mechanics. At the minimum I’d suggest hiring ChatGPT for a more empathetic response. As the stated above your words and actions do not line up and it’s clear as day Bungie only cares about taking the money of the consumer. The text for the store must be top priority to fix as indicated in today’s patch notes.
It’s insane to think that this giant company can’t allocate the resources or timeframe for a fix that can be simple as auto completing the quest or disabling the quest and removing the stipulation complete for Gaurdian rank progression. It’s not a matter of it can’t be done, it’s a matter of they don’t want to.
This is giving off theft vibes. How are you going to go on sale just to soft lock new players for a undefined timeframe, and that said company refuses to provide updates on? This issue has made 60% of the content unplayable. I know everyone else including myself expects to be able to use whatever is being purchased when I purchase it. Not buy it and be told to wait for an undefined amount of time with no intentions of providing any updates other than “WeRe INvEstIgAtiNg”. Take notes for future success. What you guys have been doing has steadily declined if not nosedived the dwindling player base you have.
Your cookie cutter “we apologize for the inconvenience and understand how you feel” response isn’t welcome. If you understood, the text crap wouldn’t be a priority and actions would speak for themself.
Get it together… Provide people with results or a refund because having paid for a service or goods and not delivering is theft.
