Not sure if this is [i]just[/i] a typo or actually a bug in functionality. I haven't gotten a single Ignition Code or Bitter/Sweet to drop in the duration of one tonic running non-Onslaught activities. Edit: To clarify, in case it's hard to tell in the screenshot, this is the description shown when the tonic is active. The description shown in the tonics inventory prior to application is correct.
