Cross Save Account Help
Hello,
I recently deleted my XBOX account (that was linked to my D2 Cross save) to just clean up and consolidate some things from my younger years.
I was trying to change my Cross Save to the "Merged Account" however, it is telling me that I have to verify the old account to remove it, and you see the previously linked account no longer exists... because I deleted it.
Can anybody help? I have 2860 Steam Hours on D2 and I don't want to have to play anew if I ever decide to play on a different platform at a friends house or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't get the account recovered then your cross-save setup is permanently stuck active with the Xbox account included. Bungie won't step in to forcibly remove it or to deactivate cross-save. One further thing, you can add more accounts to the setup without needing the Xbox login but you won't be able to remove them once they're added.
