From what i can tell from reading the twab, Bungie is going to nerf adaptive frames because that is the frame that is being over represented in their usage statistics, and they are going to try to make the less used frames more desirable to use, right? So they are buffing the precision frame.
But i would assume that the statistics looks like that because almost every good obtainable 140 handcannon is an adaptive frame, right?
I am a little bit confused by this one, while its not a huge change or anything, i dont want to think that this an example of nerfing by statistics without truly understanding why the statistics looks like they do, so am i just stupid and misunderstanding the twab?
Like whats the alternative 140 frames in the current iteration of the game? Lightweight frames which has one weapon that is currently available, the Rose, and you got Lunas Howl for precision frames.
I am not sure where the exotic weapons like Hawkmoon or Ace of Spades lands in terms of frames, so i dont know where they would fit into the statistics.
Like i said, i am just kinda confused by this one and trying to understand the process that lead to this particular decision.

every hand cannon that fires at 140 rpm should be recieving that nerf. which is a range nerf by 1 meter hardly a nerf at all. you'll feel no difference other than a lot more people will be using them because bungo decided to gut the other 2 guns remotely close to rose on the stats they posted.
