Redundant tasks
The rank objective "final shape cooperative focus" should totally complete if you've done them prior to reaching the rank. I did them previously to get the exotic I'm not doing them AGAIN!
This is the crap that needs to go. A game I barely want to play and now you want me to spend my time doing 3 useless missions AGAIN! unreal. Will be the first season i don't reach rank 10 or above.
Why are these tasks totally redundant and unbearable

I just helped my fiancé get microcosm to complete them so I wasn’t totally annoyed. But yeah, I get what you mean. These things need to be retroactive.

4 RepliesSaw that as solo player decided I’m never getting past rank 7 😂 Like I mean what is Rank 8 play Gambit and Crucible? The Rank system has nothing to do with actual rank but “did you play every single game mode in the order we want?”

7 RepliesYou wanna talk redundant? Get rid of basically every season’s weekly story mission. Pick up quest > go to planet > pick up item/do activity > go to helm > go back to planet > go back to helm > run mission This “travel here to talk to x” -blam!- is the laziest piece of padding I’ve ever seen. You can literally hear a character talk to us on the radio in some missions. There is no excuse to “summon” us. Why in blue f*ck do I need to travel off planet, visit you, travel back to the same damn planet, and then go and visit you again? Your space-mobile run out of f*cking space-minutes? Though I think they might actually finally be addressing this (but only after watching the player population tank to an all time low).

The guardian rank system needs to go away. All does it create a bigger separation in the community . I've played with rank 6 to paragons and let me tell you most of the time I would rather do a gm with 6 or 7 .. I've come across so many paragons that are horrible. People that soloed dungeons during funny gun weekend to people that do account recovs/carry services. I don't discriminate when I host activities . I look at their loadout And can tell they'll be just fine. I see these post all time be rank 11 KWTD or kick and themselves haven't completed the activity. I just don't hold too much stock in the guardian ranking.

If you did those on legend campaign they should be completed already

Oof. And its someone that usually dutifully reaches rank 10 or 11 every season. Not sure how Bungie's gonna wiggle out of this one.

Good luck getting Bungie to stop recycling content to pad your playtime, especially now that the game is in a death spiral over the next few years.

18 RepliesSounds like you simply don't want the rank and thats ok. Nobody will force you to do those missions over. Others will choose to run the mission or activity they previously ran.. to have the title. We all have choices and then have to live with those choices.
