Parasite should have an indicator

Parasite builds stacks by getting kills with other weapons, so it would be really helpful to see if I could see how many stacks I had while I was using other weapons. Even just an indicator telling me when I’m at 20 would be useful, but I just feel like this would be an easy ease of use change. :)

  • I think the best indicator might be a sound cue at x20 I think it'd be hard to find the screen real estate to show a buff for stowed weapons, but sound cues for stowed weapons already are a thing

Even just an indicator telling me when I’m at 20 would be useful, but I just feel like this would be an easy ease of use change. :)[/quote] While I can definitely appreciate the utility of displaying active Weapon Buffs on stowed weapons, I imagine it would present an issue without first doubling or even tripling the Weapon Buff display limit to allow for situations in which you have active Buffs on your currently equipped weapon well as multiple active Buffs for one or more stowed weapons: As a hypothetical, let’s say you have [b]Dynamic Sway Reduction[/b] and [b]Onslaught[/b] simultaneously active on your equipped Primary as well as an Artifact Anti-Champion Mod that is currently procced (let’s say [b]Overload Auto Rifle[/b]), [b]Ambitious Assassin[/b] and [b]Frenzy[/b] active on a stowed Special, while your Heavy has [b]Reconstruction[/b] and a stack or two of [b]Bait and Switch[/b]. This would result in [u]seven[/u] Weapon Buffs that could realistically be active simultaneously. This of course brings about the issues of Screen Real Estate, Readability and Information Overload which the devs have already attempted to address with the changes to the Active Buff list introduced with the launch of TFS which nearly doubled the number of Active Buffs visible on the screen while still working in the background to determine priority for whichever Buffs should be displayed. While at first blush your idea seems like a fairly straightforward change, I would suggest that extending such functionality to include stowed weapons outside of Parasite (because a [u]lot[/u] of weapons fall into this category, calling into question why such a change would only apply to the one Exotic) necessitates a number of considerations that can quickly become unwieldy in the implementation. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

It already tells you when you pull it out.
