Please separate Battlegrounds and Strikes!
I love strikes, and I love battlegrounds. But sometimes I want to play strikes, and sometimes I want to play battlegrounds. They're different activities. I think it was a little silly putting them into one unified playlist

I literally just leave if I get a battleground in the strike playlist. I'm not tryna play these wack -blam!- battlegrounds

They need to revert lake of shadows to how it was. The stupid escort thing ruined the whole strike plus that tormentor.

when will you understand... that this is done to increase the playing time, they even remade the old strike into new boring and long ones, just so that you could not just run through them in less than 5 minutes! this is the most pathetic gaming company! while in the first descendant the developers do it so that you can go through the dungeons faster and no one holds you by the legs... I think this is a great example, bungo are pathetic and useless developers, as are their managers...

1 ReplyHonestly I don't know why battleground activities keep getting added to the strike/vanguard ops playlist while all other seasonal activities get removed.I do like some of them but am also sick of them too.I started getting sick of them back when season of the seraph came out right before Lightfall.

Edited by Dr Livingston 9: 9/26/2024 12:00:20 PMif battlegrounds was a seperate playlist no one would go into that playlist and bungie knows it. they have more enemy density and yet they are boring. they know people leave strikes mostly when its battlegrounds. they cant admit they made a boring section of the game. when battlegrounds are nightfalls its even worse. they notice a dip in numbers. there was a mars one on a nightfall that took forever. the enemies respawn forever. some battlegrounds are not too bad but some of them are horrible long and boring. if they were a separate playlist with the number of players playing now you would have to solo them OP.

4 RepliesNo one would pick BG's (waiting for that one guy to claim he loves them) so a separation would be pointless. Should just get rid of BG's at that point. And yes, I hate them too.

Battlegrounds are fine. They just need to treat the groups of them as one strike so you're not 3x as likely to get a heist battleground as you are to get a classic strike. Alternatively, they can select the best battleground of each type and just put that in the playlist so the odds aren't so tilted in their favor. In either case, all strikes should be unvaulted. If it wasn't an issue that cayde could narrate exodus crash after forsaken, it isn't an issue that the planets vaulted strikes took place on are gone. I like strange terrain, savathuns song, and festering core.

1 ReplyI find myself saying the same thing when replying to a lot of posts recently, but you are asking for an option to choose what activity you want to do. And Bungie do not like giving us options.

But if people hate battlegrounds this much, separating them would be a good change in general. On top of that, make it a separate PvE playlist and give them their own separate pinnacle/ exotic. So at least people are getting something out of doing them. They're not strikes. They're old seasonal content that shouldn't be in the regular Strike Playlist. Battlegrounds seem like an excuse to NOT add new strikes. They need new strikes to make into GMs and battlegrounds shouldn't be the substitute for that. Actual strikes should.

2 Replieswhy all the hate for BGs? I really don't feel they are all that different. More ads perhaps and they may continue to spawn. Keep them in the same play list. spreading the remaining players thinner won't make the game any better at this point.

3 RepliesJust curious how are they different activities? They share the same mechanics from Standing on plates Dunking balls Ad waves while ghost scans something etc. The only real difference is battlegrounds have way more enemies. Also the time to complete most BGs or strikes is about 10 mins.

Recycling an old product into the "new" product while getting people to pay for it would get me hard AF or wet(#womencanbefilthycorpostoo). Right up their with not having to pay child support and having a offshore bank account to evade paying taxes.
