Still waiting on anything about our old names...
Title. Still waiting on any more information on whether or not a fix will be coming to give us our old names back from the issue from the recent past. Still cannot change my name back like I was promised...

5 Repliesit is annoying bug and locks us with these basic names. i heard they fixed it but still see a lot of ppl with these names running around. not sure what they fixed really....

It's ridiculous at this point. They hand out a name change token because of all of us effected by the broken filter, but the token has only helped those NOT EFFECTED by it. Meanwhile, we've been stuck for over a month waiting for any update on getting our old names back, and haven't gotten a single word on it. Hell, we can't even be sure they're actually trying to fix it. They could just say "oh well" and force us to pick something new.

Same here, won't even save the attempt to change it back. I've had my account since 2017 with no problems :( Hopefully this is fixed soon. -

i got hit with the bug the moment echoes 2 started that was over 2 months ago and i still can't change my name back and ALL of my profile/platform names are blocked

Me to this is so crazy how we hear nothing on this matter but yet all kinds of info on other stuff going on how about fix what's broken currently there's nothing i love more in destiny 2 then being called Guardian3811 name has such a cool ring to it don't it ? i have not been on this game nowhere near the amount of time i put in normally maybe this is the time to start looking at other games to play i mean destiny 2 is the only game that gets all my time morning till night would be nice to at least get any sort of update I've been checking the site everyday and it lets me put a name in but dont let me save it crazy how they said it was fixed and i still see Guardian tags all over the game hmmmmm
