I grinded from 1900 to 2000 in a week from TFS launch and I hate power level increase in the next episode
Sure, I will get 2010 within a week, not an issue.
The issue is that I have 716 items, 351 of them at 2000 PL. Adding +10 to Pinnacle Cap will reset my effort of updating all my gear to max PL.
The issue is that with every season/episode reset I already lose all bonus PL from the artifact. I have +22 now and most likely will hit +23 when episode ends. Adding +10 to Pinnacle Cap will make me lose 33 PL.
The issue is that a player needs being at max PL only if they want to play the endgame like Master Raids (+10 from max PL). Adding +10 to Pinnacle Cap will make me to play some boring stuff and spend tons of Upgrade Modules before I can attend Master Raids/Dungeons and GMs again. The increase essentially will gatekeep from playing indeed rewarding activities and also will make GMs to be released much later in the season instead of week 1.
The issue is that in the past 10 years no bad luck protection were implemented towards max power drops.
The issue is that my missing PL cannot be fixed by Fireteam Power, because I am that guardian who usually have the highest PL.
The issue is that guardians like me will get to 2010 in a week and then will never play pinnacle rotator again while others won't even bother to achieve 2010.
The issue is that instead of increasing the cap of Enhancement Cores from 999 to 9999 (so that they will occupy 2 slots of my inventory instead of 11), you are going to add a thing nobody asked.

1 ReplyThis is why we need slot leveling. If you get, say, a 2010 power Kinetic, every Kinetic slot weapon is now 2010, no need for upgrade modules anymore and not being able to use something because you can't fuse it up.

1 ReplyThe vault thing does suck. But at least now some of you have more reason to delete things from your vault. I will probably be spending the rest of the year at or near 700. We lose artifact power ever season/episode so its not that big of a change but it does suck to have infused so many vault things during Iron Banner just to find out the level is going up. The only thing they can do to make this up to us is increase vault size and perhaps that will soften the blow.
