Since the vex are now making their own choices is an alliance possible?
I remember in the lore book some did try to communicate with the guardians like the friendly hobgoblin and others seem friendly like the harpy’s and again in the lore book some were build sand castle others were climbing trees and what is assumed that they were laughing so I think a alliance is not impossible, tho if we kill maya than what would happen to the vex she change?

No Vex should remain the mysterious boogeymen they were in D1 Atheon wouldn't care about the Witness or The Traveler , only concerns itself with the greater vex collective goal of changing reality to fit its design Here is a brain twister , what if the Gardner and Winnower are Vex creations ?
