Firstly, a completely free universal ornament set of the new gear can be picked up from the Special Delivery Kiosk, once you've picked up the gear set and redeemed the triumph on the new seal. To stop people wasting synthweave, they do not appear in the transmog menu. Secondly, Synthweave Template is not class specific. If you're looking at the place where you can make a new ornament, it will show your remaining class-specific synthweave first, not class-specific + templates. After you've spent all of the class-specific synthweave, then the option to use synthweave template will show when you want to make another ornament. Another place to look, is at the top left of the Customise Appearance screen, you will see your class-specific totals in blue, yellow and red, and then the templates as a grey count. In addition, the templates may have to be unwrapped from a special spot in your engram inventory first. This is something generally offered for all Silver purchases as a final choice whether to redeem or refund. So in light of the above, you may be able to refund if the synthweave is not needed.
