We are 100% committed to Destiny as a franchise, to improve, innovate, and keep it relevant and fun.

Then IMMEDIATELY have us battling RNG for literal hours to collect a handful of worthless engrams.
For a seal, a legendary armor set and an emblem.
Christ, this is as bleak as that Willy Wonka experience in Scotland.
Where’s the depressed Oompa Loompa chick?
Improvement? Nope
Innovation? Nope
Fun? Nope
Relevant? To what? To Destiny? Sure…I guess this so called celebration is typical of Destiny. Minimum effort, minimum satisfaction. Right? Congrats. At least you got 1 out of 4.
There are so many little things you could have done for this. And it wouldn’t have cost you that much work.
A 10th anniversary shader or glow
A 10th anniversary mod, like Sweaty Confetti
Have the OG D1 theme blaring in the tower
A couple of balloons in the tower with a 10 on them.
A little resource gift pack.
F*ck, spruce it up a little, will ya?

Edited by Yosemite Sam: 9/11/2024 1:32:23 PMI like how the player base has paid them millions and this is how they show their appreciation 🤣 You can't pay for this kind of entertainment 😁 Edit: Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but if people didn't buy TFS they don't get to celebrate the 10th anniversary? If this is true, this is really close to the most scummy thing any developer has ever done for an anniversary. What makes it worse is the ones defending it saying "It's a free event". Not even DE with Waframe is as scummy as this business has become. Hey, come "celebrate our 10th anniversary, a free event" to where we should be showing you our appreciation for supporting us all these years, but we want everyone for a second time to pay us". Oh, and don't forget to buy the dungeon to where we set icebreaker as bait that will not be as its former self and we will most likely have a set date to nerf it. Happy anniversary!
