Mobile bounty purchases no longer working (Android)

No matter what I do, I cannot purchase bounties through the companion app anymore. I'm on a Pixel 7 running the latest update for Android 14. I e re-registered device for push notifications, made sure notifications are on, cleared cache, uninstalled/reinstalled. Nothing works anymore (used to work only 50% of the time). Trying to get a bounty just results in the bounty icon with the spinning wait wheel lasting forever.

  • Bungie responded to another recent post about this issue & they're passing it along to the devs to look into it.. Just so you're aware that they're aware 👌🏻

    • Just chiming in to say I'm experiencing the same thing. I've even tried installing BlueStacks on my PC and tried to get bounties to work there. Still no dice.

      Same issue. I was gone for a year, came back and found I had to constantly uninstall/reinstall to get it to accept bounty purchase requests. It got worse during the solstice event, but after the "event end update" it was unusable. I expect to hear something back from Bungie within the next year or two... And THANK YOU Bungie! Bounties are working again (4 me, hopefully for you too.

    • Following thids. Same issue, tried deleting cache and data, uninstall/reinstall, even installed into a device never before used - same problem... Pain to travel to multiple locations for each character just to pick up the bountiesd - hope they fix soon. ~Wuhlfe
