Destiny 2 - Support for Steam Deck / BattlEye
Hi!
This has probably been asked many times, but will Bungie ever support Destiny 2 on Steam Deck?
I know running Windows is an option, but it would be great to run this native on SteamOS.
After some reading it seems to have something to do with the BattlEye anti-cheat.
But BattlEye already has support for Steam Deck, but for it to be supported in D2 they possibly need to contact BattlEye.

Not sure why Bungie isn't acting on this..
Has Bungie provided a statement of some sort for this?

I'm on the same boat as you are. I would love to go for the steam deck and play destiny 2. In fact, that's the ONLY thing holding me back from buying a steam deck. Sure, I can dual boot windows on it which is still a possibility but it is frustrating that I cannot play one of my favorite games on the infamous steam deck due to battle eye/ anticheat integrity. There's plenty of other games that have anti cheat on them that are also supported by steam deck so what makes destiny and call of duty different from the rest of those titles?
